Location• Removal of old, defective epoxy flooring.
• Application of a new heavy-duty epoxy flooring system capable of withstanding movement of fire extinguishers and heavy metallic equipment.
• Multi-stage application of epoxy screeds and self-leveling systems.
• Sealing of expansion joints with polysulphide joint sealant.
The flooring system had to withstand extreme mechanical stresses (dragging of fire extinguishers, heavy metallic loads, welding sparks). In addition, long-term durability and warranty were key requirements.
Old epoxy was completely removed, and a multi-layer epoxy system was applied (primer + screed + self-leveling), reinforced at joints with MasterSeal 470 GG. The system has remained in excellent condition for over 6 years, demonstrating its long-term performance and reliability.
