Expansion joints had to achieve dual protection: watertightness and fire resistance, in addition to the very short timeframe for completion since the project was close to handover.
The team utilized advanced joint systems (compression seals, aluminum covers, and fire-rated sealants) with a fast-track application strategy to meet the deadline and ensure compliance with both waterproofing and fire-safety standards.
