Scope of Work

• Execution of expansion joints in floors and structural elements.
• Installation of compression seal systems for watertight performance.
• Application of aluminum covers (MasterFlex Aluminum Systems) for aesthetic and functional finishing.
• Fire-resistant joint sealing with MasterFlame 100 GCGS at top floor levels.

Challenge

Expansion joints had to achieve dual protection: watertightness and fire resistance, in addition to the very short timeframe for completion since the project was close to handover.

Solution

The team utilized advanced joint systems (compression seals, aluminum covers, and fire-rated sealants) with a fast-track application strategy to meet the deadline and ensure compliance with both waterproofing and fire-safety standards.
