Sikafloor-161 is an economic, two-part, low-viscosity epoxy resin, suitable for use in hot and tropical climatic conditions. It is a versatile epoxy resin used for priming, and can also be used as a binder for levelling mortars and mortar screeds, and as an intermediate layer underneath Sikafloor-263 SL and Sikafloor-264. Sikafloor-161 is a two-component (A&B) epoxy primer specifically designed for internal surfaces, essential for preparing concrete substrates with low to medium absorption, ensuring optimal adhesion and surface readiness. It is also described as a high grade, high build multipurpose epoxy resin which can be used as a surface sealer or scratch coat with and without the addition of suitable quartz sand or filler.
