Description

Nitoprime Zincrich 2 is an anti-corrosion primer recommended for exposed steel reinforcement used with Fosroc concrete repair mortars. It actively resists corrosion within the repair area and prevents the formation of new corrosion sites in adjacent locations. It is an electrically conductive, single-component, grey-colored liquid based on metallic zinc and epoxy resins. The product is fully compatible with Renderoc mortars, fluid micro-concretes, and certain electrochemical products.

It protects steel against chloride attack as part of a concrete repair system and can be used for coating steel structures as an anti-corrosion primer. It is also suitable for priming cleaned, exposed rebar before applying Renderoc patch mortars, as a protective touch-up coating for steel revealed during concrete breakout or crack chasing, and for corrosion mitigation in vertical, overhead, or soffit repairs where future steel exposure risk is high.
