Description

Mapeset is a high-performance, cement-based adhesive with an extended open time, designed for bonding ceramic and natural stone tiles. It is a grey or white powder composed of cement, selected sands, synthetic resins, and special additives. When mixed with water, it forms an easily workable, creamy paste that can be applied vertically without slumping or tile slippage. Mapeset hardens with minimal shrinkage, achieving good resistance and adequate adhesion to materials commonly used in the building industry.

Uses

Internal and external bonding of ceramic tiles and mosaics, single-fired and double-fired tiles for floors, walls, and ceilings. This includes bonding paper-faced or mesh-backed ceramic mosaics and absorbent single-fired or double-fired ceramic tiles on traditional render or cement mortar, gypsum or anhydrite (after applying Primer G or Eco Prim T Plus), and ordinary or floating reinforced cementitious screeds that are sufficiently cured and dry.
