Description

Mapei Keraflex Maxi S1 Zero is a high-performance, deformable, cementitious adhesive available in grey and ultra-white. It features no vertical slip, extended open time, and Low Dust technology, making it ideal for the installation of large-format ceramic and natural stone tiles. This product can be applied in high thicknesses (up to 15 mm) without the tiles sinking on floors or slipping on walls. Keraflex Maxi S1 Zero is also a CO2 fully offset product, meaning its CO2 emissions measured throughout its life cycle have been offset through the acquisition of certified carbon credits. It is classified as C2TES1 according to EN 12004, signifying it is an improved, slip-resistant, cementitious adhesive with extended open time and deformability. It also has very low emission of volatile organic compounds (VOC) and is certified EC1 Plus by the German association GEV.

Uses

Mapei Keraflex Maxi S1 Zero is used for interior and exterior wall and floor bonding of all types and sizes of ceramic tiles (double-fired, single-fired, porcelain tiles, klinker, terracotta, etc.) up to 15 mm thick on irregular substrates and renders without prior leveling. It is also suitable for bonding stone materials (provided they are not sensitive to moisture), all types of mosaic (including in swimming pools), and spot bonding insulating materials in interiors such as expanded polystyrene, rock and glass wool, wood-cement panels, sound-deadening panels, and cork. Some application examples include bonding on conventional substrates, cementitious screeds and underfloor heating installations, cementitious renders, gypsum board (firmly fixed and primed), existing flooring, floors subjected to heavy traffic, and installations in areas with poor ventilation.
