Hempadur 85671
HEMPADUR 85671 is a two-component, amine adduct cured phenolic epoxy (novolac) coating with very good adhesion and high temperature, water and chemical resistance.
- Very good adhesion.
- High temperature resistance (up to 205°C/401°F for dry service, and 95°C/203°F in water).
- Excellent water and chemical resistance.
- Approved for potable water by WRAS (up to 23°C/73°F).
- Complies with Section 175.300 of the Code of Federal Regulations Title 21 – Liquid and Dry Foodstuff (FDA).
- Conforms to Norsok M-501, system no. 3 (and 7C for subsea equipment).
- In accordance with ARAMCO's specification APCS 2A, 2B and 2C.
As an interior lining in tanks, pipelines, railcars, etc. for hot water, brine, crude oil, vegetable oils, and other chemicals (for shades 11150 and 50900). As an external coating for the protection of insulated (CUI) and uninsulated process pipework and vessels including cryogenic conditions. As corrosion protection for hot subsea equipment and structures according to NORSOK system 7C. For coating of potable water tanks.
